The members of the association also demanded that no-objection certificate (NOC) should not be mandatory for registration of the property and for getting water and sewerage connection.

Mandeep Mani, president of the association, said the members would meet local bodies minister Anil Joshi on Tuesday and demand that requirement of an NOC should not be mandatory for sale of property and getting water and sewerage connection.

He said there were more than 300 property dealers in Haibowal area that had been affected due to the decision of the state government.

Inderjit Singh Banga, general secretary of the association, said the colonies that were built before 2007 under the municipal corporation should not be charged any regularisation fee.

Banga said requirement of an NOC for electricity, water and sewerage connection was not appropriate as all these basic amenities had to be provided by the government without any hassles.
