Sources said during the party, the members raised slogans for voting their panel code of SOI alliance (4212). SOI senior leader Vicky Middukhera said the slogans can be raised by anyone, adding that he does not know about the party.

SOI’s 2017 presidential candidate Harman Lubana, chairperson Chetan Choudhary and senior leader Rashpal Hakuwala also attended the party. As per Lyngdoh Committee Guidelines, any activity, conducted by wings, where members ask for votes, is prohibited. Five buses took the students to Kasauli, four of the buses left at 8.26 am and the last bus left at 9.08 am.

A student of UIET, who did not wish to be named, said, “Divyanshu Budhiraja organised a trip for the UIET students and Manoj Lubana organised the trip for the UICET students.” Budhiraja and Lubana are senior leaders of NSUI, they have been elected PUCSC presidents.

Budhiraja, who denied the allegations, said, “I was on campus to mobilise students from Haryana, but I do not have any knowledge of the trip.” Lubana also denied the allegations. Harsha Malhotra, UICET DR candidate of NSUI, also attended the trip.
