SFJ advocate Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, who reached Portugal, referred the extradition of underworld don Abu Salem from Portugal to India as violation of the extradition treaty, and said the treaty would again be violated if the Indian government was allowed to take away Pamma, whose name also figures in 2010 bomb blasts in Ambala and Patiala.

The Indian agencies have been asked to produce evidence against Pamma by January 4 to secure his extradition. Meanwhile, he remains in the custody by Portuguese agencies.
