The three day introspection meet will take place at the Chandigarh head office of SAD from June 2 to 4 and party president Sukhbir Singh Badal will interact with workers and leaders to ascertain the shortcomings in the government and in the organisation.

Whereas the SAD president will review the performance of elected leaders, he will also listen to district-level leaders to take feedback from them about their respective MLAs or halqa in-charges, apart from taking feedback on government functioning.

On the basis of the feedback from leaders, the SAD will finalise its new organizational set-up.

SAD spokesman Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said that as per the direction of the party president, leaders from every district, including MLAs, former MLAs, zila parishad members, SGPC members, party district presidents and other prominent office- bearers have been called for the review meeting.

“Apart from taking feedback from workers on the government’s functioning, the Shiromani Akali Dal president will finalize the list of new organization of SAD by consulting district-level leaders,” he said.

He said after getting the feedback, the SAD president would hold a meeting of the political affairs committee of the party, which would deliberate on the report of the three-member panel, formed to review the performance in the elections.
