Alubuthu Dweep to be made into Hollywood film
Malayalam blockbuster Albuthu Dweep (Wonder Island), inspired by the famed Gulliver's travels, will be made into a Hollywood film with the movie's less than three feet hero Ajayan playing the lead.

(Wonder Island), inspired by the famed Gulliver's travels, will be made into a Hollywood film with the movie's less than three feet hero Ajayan playing the lead if talks with the Western representatives work out.
Talks have been going on for the past few months with Hollywood representatives in Mumbai.
"Nothing has been finalised. But they seem to be impressed with the movie's concept," said Vinayan, director of the much acclaimed 2005 film, which has been dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and released in April this year.
The movie is about a wonder island where the men are dwarfs while the women are beautiful and normal due to a curse. Six-naval personnel, meanwhile, land in the island after after their helicopter crashes. The dwarfs immediately kill two of them and the story is about how the other personnel outwit them and escape. Ajayan plays the role of prince Gajendran, heir apparent of Vamanapuri, a kingdom in the island.
Parts of the movie were shot in Lakshadweep and in Palakkad district and for the Tamil version some additions were incorporated later on.
Vinayan, an electrical engineer in the Kerala state electricity board, had acted in a Malayalam movie in 1985 -
