Bahaubali 2: The Conclusion is the biggest sensation to hit Indian cinema. At the end of day 4, Rajamouli’s film had picked up over Rs 500 crore in worldwide collections.

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion continues its onward march. The film, a sequel to the highly successful Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in a fierce combat, has picked up Rs 500 crore (approx) in worldwide box office collections. Speculations have been rife that the film will become the first Indian film to earn Rs 1,000 crore.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released on April 28.

The film has also made Rs 121 crore from overseas market, reports BoxofficeIndia. Collectively, the tally goes up to Rs 504 crore at the end of day four.

Ever since the film released, it has been on a record breaking spree. Its Hindi version beat Salman Khan-starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 40.35 cr) to become the highest grossing opener (Rs 41 cr) on day one.

Soon, there was another record tumbling down as Baahubali 2 also emerged as the film with the biggest opening weekend (Rs 128 crore, in Hindi again), beating Aamir Khan’s Dangal (Rs 107.01 cr) and Salman Khan’s Sultan (Rs 105.53 cr).

In all four languages, it remains the biggest opener (day one) at Rs 121 crore.

The film’s US collections on Monday were nothing short of magical. In the North American box office, it emerged third ($10.4 million or Rs 66 crore) after Vin Diesel’s Fate of the Furious ($19.9 million or Rs 127 crore). In the three weeks since its release, it has made $193.3 million and a Hispanic comedy How to be a Latin Lover ($12.3 million i.e. Rs 78.8 crore).
