Well, it is none other than our very own Priyanka Chopra who starred with Vijay in a Tamil film called Thamizhan back in 2002.
In an interaction with her fans on Twitter, Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra revealed that she is a big fan of Tamil superstar Vijay and given a chance she would love to work with him. For the uninitiated, Priyanka began her film journey in Kollywood when she starred opposite Vijay in a film called Thamizhan (2002). Not just that, she also sang a song Ullathai Killathe for the film, reports The News Minute.
Her first Hindi film was Hero: Love Story of a Spy, which released in 2003.
During the course of her interaction, a fan asked her if she would share the screen with Vijay again. Answering in the affirmative, she said, “I would love to. I’m a big fan of @actorvijay.”
Actor Vijay has been in the news for the controversy surrounding his latest release Mersal. A day after the film’s release, Tamil Nadu BJP state unit president Tamilisai Soundarrajan took offence to the film, citing “incorrect” information on GST and Digital India. The BJP later demanded that the said scenes should be cut from the film.
“Scenes that convey wrong impression about GST and Digital India should be removed,” said Soundarrajan on Friday.
Priyanka Chopra has been on a career high with her very visible Hollywood debut, signing high profile films such as Baywatch and making news every now and then for her statements.
