The story of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ frontman Anthony Kiedis’ life is reportedly set for small screen adaptation.

The series would allegedly draw upon the singer’s autobiography Scar Tissue and may even share the same title as the memoir.

According to Variety, writer John Sayles had inked the script that would depict the rocker’s childhood during which he stayed with his drug-dealing father a.k.a Spider, reports Daily Express.
The project was further said to be set in 1970s Hollywood.
Kiedis was named amongst the ‘World's Sexiest Vegetarians’ by animal right group People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
