Bigg Boss 12 is open and Salman Khan is its host, sutradhaar and teacher. The past seasons of Bigg Boss often had the actor reprimanding the contestants on their misdemeanours, guiding them and teaching them a lesson or two. Keeping that in mind, the first Bigg Boss 12 promo has Salman as a teacher taking a roll call.

His Bigg Boss 12 class has some ‘vichitra jodis’, a nod to the new element the reality show is introducing this time round. However, not all of them are pairs but they definitely represent a cross-section of the society. From a rock star to an electrician, a homely pair of saas-bahu to twin sisters, Salman’s class has them all.

The trailer was revealed by Colors CEO Raj Nayak on Sunday afternoon. As promised earlier, the jodis are not just those who are romantically involved but are relatives, colleagues, neighbours etc. According to Indian Express, estranged sisters Shafaq and Falak Naaz, couples Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, Siddharth Sagar and Subuhi Joshi, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar and mother-son duo Vibha and Puru Chibber have been approached for the show.

Bigg Boss 12 is expected to begin earlier than usual this year with September pegged as the month when it will land. Salman has hosted nine of its 12 seasons and will return once again with Bigg Boss 12.
