I’m not in touch with Rajev: Delnaaz Irani

Actor Delnaaz Irani, who will soon be seen in the TV show, Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, is happy to be back on the idiot box. “I’m happy to be back. My role is a surprise package in the show. All I can say for now is that it’s a cute, colourful and significant one,” she says. Delnaaz adds, “They (makers) came to me and said that I suit the role well.”

Talking further about her role in the show, that will be telecast on Sony, she says, “I prefer roles that suit my real life personality.” And, what does she prefer: Television or Bollywood? “Acting is my passion. It really doesn’t matter whether it is a daily TV soap or a movie. I go by my heart... I don’t make plans,” says Delnaaz.

When asked about her relationship with her ex-husband, actor Rajev Paul, she says “I am not in touch with Rajev anymore. Also, I don’t have any plans for second marriage or getting into a relationship.”

Apart from the TV show, Delnaaz is also busy working in an English play and acting in two films.
