Naagin actor Arjun Bijlani who says he is is in a happy space on television right now, won’t be taking on a film, unless it is from a big production house.

TV actor Arjun Bijlani has had a busy 2016. The actor, who starred in a hit supernatural TV show Nagin earlier this year, is now looking forward to his upcoming serial Pardes. Arjun also tried his luck in Bollywood this year. However, his film, Direct Ishq, failed to make a mark at the box office. Now, he seems to have put movies on the back-burner.

The actor also feels that he can do movies “simultaneously with his TV shows or even later”. “Television is big right now, and you can’t leave TV completely to do a film. It would be a wrong move for a TV star in today’s times. I mean, one can, if they want to, but I don’t want to. Unless the film is from a big production house, I wouldn’t want to take that leap or make that mistake, and then regret it later,” he says.

With many of his peers quitting their television careers for films, Arjun doesn’t “want to leave something for nothing”. “I don’t want to make the mistake that many [other actors] have made, and still regret. I want to do a film that will change my career for the better, and not hamper it,” says Arjun.
