No one knows the truth about my relationships: Ankit Gera

There is no denying that Bigg Bos 9 ex-contestant Ankit Gera, who has, so far, done only one show as the lead — Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke — is best known for his alleged link-ups. A few years back, reports revealed that he was in a relationship with TV actor Adaa Khan. Then, he made news for cheating on Adaa with his co-star, Roopal Tyagi. Soon after, his relationship status became very murky, as numerous reports did the rounds about his link-ups.

As a result, Ankit now has to live with a tag of sorts, but he remains unfazed. “I don’t worry about tags, as no one knows the truth about my relationships. They only know what is written in the papers. I don’t talk about my past since I don’t think everyone needs to know everything about it,” he says, adding, “I have never given any clarification [regarding my relationships] because I don’t want to ruin any girl’s image.”

Meanwhile, the actor recently became the first contestant to be eliminated from Bigg Boss 9. “I was shocked to find out that the people I considered friends, in the house, were against me. This experience has changed me for the better. I am a carefree person, and I have learnt my lesson. But I wasn’t pretending to be someone else inside,” he says.

Speaking about his journey in the Bigg Boss house, Ankit adds, “I had a great time inside the Bigg Boss house and it was a wonderful experience. I was fortunate to get a partner like Arvindji who took care of me like a younger brother. I feel we made a great pair and I am going to miss him a lot. While my stay in the house was a brief one, if given a chance to go back, I would most definitely take up the opportunity!”
