Paul Rudd is all set to reprise his role as Bobby Newport in the seventh and final season of Parks and Recreation, which premieres on NBC on January 13, reports EW.com.
Two years after his first appearance on Parks and Recreation, Paul Rudd will pay another visit to the gang before the comedy takes its final bow. Once again, the actor will play Bobby Newport, the spoiled heir who entered the Pawnee city council elections during season four, challenging the show's protagonist Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler).
Rudd will not be the only guest star to help Parks and Recreation go out with a bang. Jon Hamm of Mad Men, who made an appearance at the end of the sixth season, will return in at least one episode, as will Rob Lowe, Ben Schwartz, Rashida Jones, Megan Mullally and Natalie Morales.
Known for his comedic turns (This Is 40, This Is the End), Rudd stars in Marvel's Ant-Man as the titular superhero and his alter-ego Scott Lang. The superhero comedy opens on July 17, 2015 in the US.
