New posters for Netflix’s first Indian original series, Sacred Games, were released online on Tuesday, featuring the leads Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte and Elnaaz Norouzi.

New character posters for Sacred Games, Netflix’s first Indian original series, were released online on Tuesday by Phantom Films, the production company behind the show. Each of the show’s four leads is given a separate poster, in which they wear ominous expressions as they stand beside an ornate window with Mumbai in the background.

Based on Vikram Chandra’s sprawling epic, the series marks Netflix’s first foray into Indian original content.

Here’s the synopsis: The series focuses on Sartaj Singh, a seasoned and cynical Mumbai police officer, summoned by an anonymous tip one morning, a voice which promises him an opportunity to capture the powerful Ganesh Gaitonde, criminal overlord of the G-Company. As the stakes mount and Sartaj seeks knowledge of his prey, it becomes clear that the game the two players thought they were engaged in is, in fact, part of a much larger scenario, one that expands beyond their city.

First look images from the show were shared online in February, followed by a trailer in May. The show has been directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane and is scheduled for a July 6 release in 190 countries with access to Netflix.
