I believe you had quite an exciting birthday this year..
You bet. I was shooting for Sangam at Film City the day before my birthday and a leopard visited the sets! I was like, "Wow, great start."

Are you really happy with the way Sangam is shaping up?
It's not exactly a TRP-grabber. There was a phase when my hero Chaitanya (Choudhary) and I thought it went off track. That's sorted now. We are both happy with the Sagar Ganga sangam track.

So, sangam hoga ki nahin?
Hoga and then nahin hoga.

How long does it take for you to get ready for the shoot?
It takes me 45 minutes to get my hair and make-up done.

Doesn't Chaitanya get bored waiting?
No, in fact he tells me to take as long as I want. That way he can chill in his room.

Who is crazier?
We're both equally nuts. He smothered my face with cake on my birthday. Just wait till his birthday.. no, hang on, it's over.

Aren't your chiffon saris a bit much for a village girl?
Hey, Ganga has moved to the city. She now owns a business worth Rs 800 crore. The least she can do is get a makeover!

Anything silly you have done on screen?
It wasn't silly but I was terrified while shooting with a kitten once.

You've often said that you enjoy performing stunts. Which is the last one you did?
I recently hung off a cliff. It was a night shoot so I didn't realise how deep the valley was.. till I saw it the next morning.

If there is a time leap in Sangam, would you play mum?
I have not thought about this.

What would your daughter be called? Gangotri?
No clue.

You didn't look as if you enjoyed dancing at the Star Parrivar Awards.
Don't remind me! I bumped into a dancer on stage and then went blank. In the end, all the girls were supposed to look astonished at Smriti Iraani's entry. My look was the most genuine one.

If you could produce your own show with an unlimited budget, what would you make?
Something like Indiana Jones with George Clooney. Hope he doesn't get too old by then. Back home, I'd love to make a show with Akshay Kumar.

No one from the TV industry?
I thought you said unlimited budget.

Tell me one secret about Chaitanya.
He keeps fiddling with his hair.. he's very finicky about it. (Giggles) And he hates being told that he's balding.
