Silent turn

You’ve heard of silent films, but a silent TV show? A special episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been shot without any dialogues to depict a grave turn in the story. However, unlike silent films, the episode will have background music to intensify the silence in the household.

The show, that airs on Star Plus, is the story of bonding between Akshara and Naitik after their arranged marriage. The silent phase comes into play when Akshara is blamed for encouraging Naitik’s friend Mohit and Naitik’s sister Nandini to meet and fall in love. The episode will be aired on Friday at 9.30 pm.
