Vroom again with Top Gear

The three bad boys of British Television, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have come back to take viewers on a rollercoaster ride into the world of automobiles. Fused with its usual rip-roaring wit and insights into the world’s best cars, Top Gear — Series 14, hit the air Wednesday night on BBC Entertainment and May can’t stop raving about the show’s success.

“The secret of the show is a combination of the perversity of three blokes who see the whole world through cars and that there’s some good creative needle between us. That’s what really makes the show gallop along,” says May, popularly known as Captain Slow on the show because of his careful driving style, love of small cars and his habit of getting distracted whilst driving. With an audience of over 350 million, Top Gear has been broadcast in over 100 countries — giving motoring enthusiasts a new vista into the world of cars.

Series 14 gives a lowdown on the most expensive machines made to die for and will also feature celebs like Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, F1 ace Rubens Barrichello, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, among others.
