The Afridi-led Pakistan failed make it to the semifinals of the World Twenty20 in India, where his comments about receiving more love in India also drew the ire of former players.

The 36-year-old all-rounder and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had earlier hinted that World T20 could well be be his last as skipper and had also hinted at a possible retirement from the game.
