The accident, which leaves 35 others injured, occur when two passenger buses collided head-on in northern Peru.
At least 14 people have been killed and 35 injured when two passenger buses collided head-on in northern Peru, Spain's EFE news agency reported on Sunday.
The accident occurred early Saturday on the Pan-American Highway, when one of the vehicles drove out of its lane and collided with another bus near the coastal town of Huarmey, some 250 km north of Lima.

Those seriously injured were shifted to a hospital in the city of Chimbote, while others were admitted to clinics in Huarmey and the neighbouring town of Barranca.
Luis Vidal, chief of regional fire service agency, said the authorities faced difficulty in shifting the injured to hospitals because of inadequate ambulances.
