Lukas Marvan, a spokesman for the regional firefighters, told the local CTK news agency that all the victims were in the minibus.
Further details were not immediately known.
Local media reported it was likely the biggest single road accident in the Czech Republic since 2003, when 19 people died in a bus crash in southern part of the country.
