Bangladesh's Army chief General Moeen U Ahmed is expected to visit India later this month to meet with senior government leaders and officials, sources said in Dhaka on Thursday.
Bangladesh's Army chief General Moeen U Ahmed is expected to visit India later this month to meet with senior government leaders and officials, sources said in Dhaka on Thursday.
They said during the visit from February 24 to March 2, the army chief is expected to meet his counterpart General Deepak Kapoor, Navy Chief Admiral Sureesh Mehta and Air Chief Air Marshal Fali Homi Major.

Gen Ahmed will also make a courtesy call on President Pratibha Patil, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Defence Minister AK Antony, the official sources sid.
An earlier scheduled visit by the army chief to India was postponed, and it was attributed on his "preoccupations".
