Veteran actor Carrie Fisher has confirmed she will reprise her Princess Leia character in the much-anticipated Star Wars revamp.

The 56-year-old actor and her co-stars Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill were each approached by the sci-fi films’ creator George Lucas and the franchise’s new bosses at Disney and asked to be a part of Star Wars VII.

Fisher said that she is onboard the next film, which will be directed by JJ Abrams, reported The Telegraph. When asked what she thinks her updated Leia will look like in the new film, she joked: “Elderly. She’s in an intergalactic old folks’ home.”

London: Britain’s most tattooed man, Matt Whelan, who has spent more than 20,000 pounds and had at least 300 hours under the needle, has 80% of his skin covered in designs — and has even had one of his eyeballs tattooed, the Mirror reported.

Also known as the King of Inkland, he said that he wanted tattoos since the age of nine after seeing his dad’s and uncle’s and got his first one, a British Bulldog with a blank scroll, at 16.

The former wrestler, from Birmingham, said that people who do what he does treat their body like a temple, like Christians have Jesus, they have their bodies.

India 3rd largest ‘spam spewing nation’ in world
Washington: India has ranked third on the list of countries distributing spam across the world, after US and China, a new report has claimed.

While the US was the single highest-ranking country in the study, Asia topped the list of continents with 36.6% of the world’s spam accounted for.

In the latter half of 2012, India had been leading the way but has now fallen back to third, with China leapfrogging into second place after a spell in the lower half of the list, with the US still firmly on the top, reveal statistics. PTI

London: People with mental disorders are at increased risk of being victims of homicide, a new study has revealed.

A team of researchers from Sweden and the USA assessed mental disorders and homicides across the entire population of Swedish adults between 2001 and 2008.

Mental disorders were grouped into the following categories: substance use disorder; schizophrenia; mood disorders including bipolar disorder and depression; anxiety disorders and personality disorders. AFP
