Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian militant in the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian medical staff says.
Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian militant in the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, Palestinian medical staff said.
Local residents said 38-year-old Nasser Mabrouk of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a secular militant group, was killed during a clash with the troops in a refugee camp in Nablus.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said troops spotted an armed man while they were operating in the area and established they had hit him.
