Devotees from all over the world, including Australia, India and America, have reportedly visited the UK to mark the 25th anniversary of the Shree Swaminarayan temple.
The festivities included a street festival, which was attended by thousands, a live music concert and an opening ceremony choreographed by the younger members of the temple.
It is the first Swaminarayan Mandir, which is dedicated to the followers of a Hindu division called Swaminarayan Sampraday, to be built in London.
Hundreds of volunteers have been working for nearly two years to hold the nine days of festivities.
