"The visit is in keeping with the tradition of long and deep association and friendship between parliamentarians of India and Nepal and will help continue that tradition with the newer generation of parliamentarians," said a statement issued by the Indian Embassy.

India and Nepal had agreed on regular exchange of parliamentary delegations in order for them to share experiences, exchange views on strengthening democratic norms and deepen bilateral relations.

During the visit, the Nepali MPs will call on Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, meet senior politicians and MEA officials and also visit Agra and Bengaluru to see the Indian Institute of Management, WIPRO and Biocon campuses.
