Mohit Malik on working with wife Aditi Shirwaikar: We’re waiting for a good script

Real-life actor couples often talk about how much they enjoy working with each other on screen. Mohit Malik and Aditi Shirwaikar are no different. Having worked with each other in shows such as Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Miilee and Nach Baliye, Mohit says that he’d love to work with Aditi again.

Praising Aditi’s prowess, Mohit says, “She is a fabulous actor. Her strongest point is comedy. And as I always say, it’s one of the toughest genres to explore. After all, it’s not easy to make people laugh. And Aditi is very good at it. Working with her has always been a wonderful experience. We’d love to get back together on screen if an interesting opportunity comes our way.”

Aditi has been a part of popular shows such as Shararat, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, and Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. However, she has not done any other TV show after 26/12, which got over in 2013. According to Mohit, Aditi got busy with their restaurant business and now takes care of everything, while he continues to be on shows. He also shares that she has been enjoying her new stint.

So does that mean Aditi has no plans of acting anytime soon? “No, she does, of course. In fact, she wants to do a comedy show and is on the lookout for the right script,” he smiles.
